Distribution of Groundnut Pod Separator Machines – Kaju Podda Project

Supply and Delivery of 1200 Units of Groundnut Pod Separator Machines under SAPP Project (2024–2025)

Under the SAPP Project initiative, a total of 1200 Groundnut Pod Separator Machines will be supplied and distributed to farmers across selected regions including Anuradhapura, Kurunegala, Monaragala, and Thanamalwila during the 2024–2025 period.

This project, known as “Kaju Podda”, aims to improve groundnut processing efficiency, reduce manual labor, and enhance productivity for small and medium-scale farmers. The machines will support faster pod separation, better yield handling, and improved post-harvest management.

This initiative contributes to modernizing agricultural practices and strengthening rural farming communities.
